What is the structure of XAT?

XAT usually comprises 3 or 4 Objective type Multiple Choice sections and an essay writing section.

1. Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning (English) - (Objective Type Multiple Choice)
2. Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation (Math and DI) - (Objective Type Multiple Choice)
3. Decision Making - (Objective Type Multiple Choice)
4. May include a general awareness section - (Objective Type Multiple Choice)
5. And an essay writing section

The duration of the test ranges from 120 minutes to 150 minutes for the objective type section and an additional 15 minutes is provided at the end of the 2 hours for the essay writing section.
